Pull Up
Bars
There are a number of different exercise equipments one can
use; among them are pull up bars. These bars are meant for pull
ups which is a more competitive form of exercise.
Pull ups is a kind of exercise which involves the compound
pulling of the upper extremities. This would involve the need
of pull up bars as these requires one to pull themselves up
towards or even over the bar. There are a number of different
kinds of pull up exercises; some of which, such as the standard
pull ups would require one to use both hands and lift them up
to the bar. Others are more complex, such as the weighted pull
ups where one needs to strap some added weights on to their
body while they continue on with the exercise.
There are also those which require one to pull themselves in
reverse where instead of their chins, the goal is for them to
be able to touch the bars using the back of their necks or
their napes. And for others, instead of using both arms, they
only use one arm for more resistance.
The pull up bars are usually mounted on to a door frame as
these would provide better vertical clearances so that one may
be able to do their pull ups at home without worrying much
about hitting their heads or any other parts of the body. These
are also available at the gym and in home gyms where a
horizontal bar is placed on top of equipment such as a weight
lifting machine or others.
